Privacy Policy
Effective date: March 31, 2025
This Privacy Policy explains how VisaMD (“we,” “our,” or “us”) handles information when you visit visamd.com. We respect your privacy and collect only what is necessary to operate the site.
Information We Collect
VisaMD does not require you to create an account or register to use the site. We collect information in two limited ways:
Contact form. When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the message you provide. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is not shared with third parties.
Usage analytics. We use Vercel Analytics to collect aggregated, anonymized data about how visitors use the site (e.g., page views, referral sources, country-level location). This data does not identify you personally and is used only to improve the site.
Cookies
VisaMD does not set first-party cookies for tracking or advertising. Vercel Analytics operates without persistent tracking cookies. If you use Google Maps on the site, Google may set cookies subject to Google's own privacy policy.
Job Listing Data
All job listings are aggregated from publicly available sources, including hospital and health system career pages and public job boards. VisaMD does not receive, store, or process any personal information from job applicants. Applications are handled entirely by the employers listed.
How We Use Information
Information collected through the contact form is used exclusively to respond to your message. Aggregated analytics data is used to understand site usage and improve the product. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party for marketing purposes.
Data Retention
Contact form submissions are retained only as long as necessary to address your inquiry, after which they are deleted. Analytics data is retained in aggregated form as provided by Vercel.
Third-Party Services
VisaMD uses the following third-party services that may process data subject to their own privacy policies: Vercel (hosting and analytics) and Google Maps (job location display). We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies if you have concerns.
Your Rights
If you have submitted a contact form and wish to request deletion of that information, please contact us at the address below. We will honor reasonable deletion requests promptly.
Children's Privacy
VisaMD is intended for medical professionals and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
